More About Linda Smith’s Highland Dancing Studio
Our mission at Linda Smith’s Highland Dancing Studio is to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which the student can grow both mentally and physically as a dancer. Our highly trained and certified instructor Miss Linda with 30 years of experience in teaching Scottish Highland Dancing was a former NSW state champion herself. Her students have achieved highly in Australia and overseas, one of her dancers has won 70 championships and placed 10th in the World Championship held in Scotland.

2025 Classes
Rhythm and Movement Preliminary Classes
There are 2 weekly classes available for all new dancers on Monday and Tuesday at 4.00 pm – 4.30pm. This class is designed for all Junior dancers 11 and under and Registered Primary and Beginner dancers learning Preliminary work.
Rhythm and Movement Pre Grade Class
There are 2 weekly classes available for all Primary and Beginner dancers on Monday and Tuesday at 4.00pm - 5.00pm. This class is designed for dancers who have learnt the Preliminary syllabus and basic movements and are ready to learn their Pre Grade work.
Traditional and Technical, National, Grade 1 to Teachers Classes for Beginner to Premier
There are 2 weekly classes available for all registered dancers Beginners to Premier dancers on Monday and Tuesday at 5.00pm – 6.00pm. This class is designed for advanced dancers.
Lesser Known National, Character and Choreography Senior Classes
There are 2 weekly classes available for only dancers only on Monday and Tuesday at 6.00pm – 6.30pm.

Class Hours
Classes available Mondays and Tuesdays.
Classes will start promptly at 4pm. No parents after that time in the studio, however parents are welcome to stay on the premises and wait for your dancer to finish their lesson, on the chairs provided outside the studio.
