More About Linda Smith’s Highland Dancing Studio
Our mission at Linda Smith’s Highland Dancing Studio is to provide students of all levels with more than just dance classes, but a unique experience in which the student can grow both mentally and physically as a dancer. Our highly trained and certified instructor Miss Linda with 26 years of experience in teaching Scottish Highland Dancing was a former NSW state champion herself. Her students have achieved highly in Australia and overseas, one of her dancers has won 70 championships and placed 10th in the World Championship held in Scotland.

Primary and Learners
Monday and Tuesday starting at 4:30
If you’re looking to learn new dance moves and basic positions for Scottish Highland Dancing, this class is what you are looking for. Miss Linda is committed to giving each student attention while teaching them the basic movements of Scottish Highland Dancing. We’re happy to answer any questions you have about this class or any others - simply contact us or stop by.
Beginners and Novice
Monday and Tuesday starting at 4:30pm
These rhythm and movement classes are for tiny tot dancers from 3-6 years. This class will help build confidence, co- ordination and encourage creativity and expression in a fun and supportive environment. Our amazing instructor Miss Linda makes sure everyone gets individual attention while keeping the class collaborative. Intermediate and Premier class
Monday and Tuesday starting at 4:30pm
These classes are for dancers who have learnt a number of dances and are competing at an Intermediate or Premier level. We will focus on the traditional championship dances and premiership dances.
If you have any additional questions about our classes, get in touch and one of our staff members will gladly assist you.
Class Hours
Classes available Mondays and Tuesdays.
Classes will start promptly at 4:30pm for Beginners, Intermediate and Premier dancers. No parents after that time in the studio, however parents are welcome to stay on the premises and wait for your dancer to finish their lesson, on the chairs and table provided outside the studio. Also, if you wish to discuss your child's progress, next competition, syllabus etc. Please give me a phone call on 0418406144.
